HELP US DIGNIFY MENSTRUAL HEALTH
Reusable feminine hygiene products For DIGNIFIED MENSTRUAL HEALTH
Project Intombi is a passionate initiative committed to restoring dignity and empowering young girls through access to sustainable menstrual health solutions.
At the heart of this project is a bold goal: to donate 3,000 reusable sanitary pads to girls in under-resourced communities who are often forced to miss school or face shame during their menstrual cycles due to a lack of proper hygiene products.
Menstrual health is not a luxury—it’s a human right. Yet, thousands of girls in South Africa still experience period poverty every month. Project Intombi responds to this urgent need with compassion, care, and sustainability at its core.
Vision
Is to distribute feminine hygiene products to disadvantaged communities while educating them on menstrual health.
Mission
Dignified menstrual health empowers women through support and education.

Product Design and Benefits
more about this product
The reusable pad is developed with five different types of fabrics, forming three different layers of the product, such as black honeycomb cotton, which is used as a top layer that comes against the skin.
This absorbs fluid and creates comfort for the wearer, light, soft, breathable material, 100% cotton towelling and 100% cotton terry towelling is used at the middle layer. This is mainly used for absorbent purposes, is easily washable, and retains cotton fabric shapes from deformation.
Cotton with PUL lining as the waterproof fabric is used as the lower layer, which acts as a barrier for the blood to prevent seepage and staining, and the final layer is a fashionable cotton Schwe Schwe as a beautiful and colorful finish.
